- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup Coca-Cola (regular, not diet)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sriracha (optional, for extra heat)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken wings with salt and pepper, then set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine Coca-Cola, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sriracha. Simmer over medium heat until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the wings until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer wings to a baking dish and pour the Coca-Cola glaze over them.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker glaze, simmer the sauce a bit longer until it’s sticky.
- You can make the glaze in advance and refrigerate it until you’re ready to cook.
- If you want extra crispy wings, broil them for 3-5 minutes after baking.
