- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Dipping sauces: ketchup, mustard, or special sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion softens. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Flatten each biscuit dough round with your hands.
- Add a spoonful of the beef mixture and shredded cheddar to the center of each dough round.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming a ball.
- Place the balls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- Customize these bombs by adding bacon, pickles, or swapping out the cheddar for your favorite cheese.
- To make ahead, assemble the bombs and store them uncooked in the fridge for up to a day. Bake when ready!
